Case Construction

Face Frame

Frameless

Face frame has a solid wood frame that is attached to the cabinet case, with the doors hinges and drawer slides fasten to the face frame.  Case material is 1/2" Panolam with 1/4" backs.  Case sides are datoed into face frames, creating a very sturdy cabinet.

Frameless uses thicker case construction materials with the exposed edge of the case edge banded in a matching material. The hinges and slides are attached directly to inside of the cabinet case. Case sides are 3/4" sheet goods, with 1/2" backs.  Assembly is with glue and pocket screws.
